Persuasiveness of Conversational Agents for Targeted Advertising: Autism and Gen-AI Chatbots

This study examines responses to persuasive advertising delivered through generative-AI chatbots. It compares autistic adults with different support needs and non-autistic adults, highlighting elevated persuasion risks for autistic adults with substantial support needs.
